Hey Mike, thanks. That should be fixed, and I added the check to nano-regress as well so hopefully I'll start catching those sooner.
any chance to move forward on the rc warning i mentioned earlier ?
I agree that if nano makes you hit enter a million times before starting up that should be fixed. The sum of all the errors that occurred should still be displayed and one enter should acknowledge them all. I think finding out something was not configured after you've entered the editor is too late though, that's just not the *nix way (consider specifying a flag that a program doesn't understand).
