Hmm. During ./configure I get this:

/home/ben/Programoj/nano-2.3.4/missing: Unknown `--is-lightweight' option
Try `/home/ben/Programoj/nano-2.3.4/missing --help' for more information
configure: WARNING: 'missing' script is too old or missing

But... the missing script it is running is in its own directory,
and it is from 2012. During ./configure of the SVN sources
there is no problem, although the missing that gets copied
into it is from 2009.

Hm, it is the aclocal.m4 in the tarball that contains this --is-lightweight.
The file is generated by an aclocal from automake-1.13.3. To get rid of
the warning, it seems you need to upgrade missing script on your system,
Chris? (But shouldn't that automake have come with a matching missing?)
