But that means that you haven't made the one-line selection.
Starting nano on line 11 in NEWS, and then hitting M-A and <Down>,
a single line should be selected, the one that says:

«2015.03.22 - GNU nano 2.4.0 "lizf" is released.  This is the first»

Then hitting ^T should spell check only that line.

Oh, my bad! I was doing M-a instead of M-A :)
After making one-line selection and then ^T, I resized the window.
It immediately left the spell correction mode on that line and got back
to the edit window. When I canceled or confirmed the replacement, it
segfaulted on me. However I wasn't able to make it sigfault while resizing.
