If anyone is looking for a small bug to fix, I would like to see
https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?51040 fixed. It is a small bug,
and it has been there for ages, but it won't be very easy to fix
-- it will probably require another parameter to write_file().
When it is fixed, I plan to bind ^S by default to 'savefile' and
^Q to 'wherewas'. (The latter function doesn't exist yet, but
there is a patch for that: https://savannah.gnu.org/patch/?8791 .)
Of course, both bindings will only be made when --preserve is not
in effect. Since I suspect that most people do not use --preserve,
it would be much nicer to have ^Q and ^S do something useful by
default instead of just saying "Mumble mumble" on the status bar.
