In all seriousness, this is actually a good idea too.
For the record, the blinking attribute currently works in xterm,
rxvt-unicode, and KDE5's Konsole, but not xfce4-terminal or
MATE-Terminal 2.8 (at least on my Slackware 14.2 system with KDE5 and
MATE 2.8 added), so anything VTE-based doesn't handle it. Although VTE
will apparently support blink as of version 0.52, according to this:
