Brand Huntsman suggested these changes to cutting words:
Scanning right grabs word and whitespace but: 1) stop scanning when transitioning between newline and non-newline 2) stop scanning when transitioning from whitespace to non-whitespace3) stop scanning when transitioning between alphanumeric and non-alphanumericScanning left grabs whitespace and word but: 4) stop scanning when transitioning between newline and non-newline 5) stop scanning when transitioning from non-whitespace to whitespace6) stop scanning when transitioning between alphanumeric and non-alphanumeric
However, in his patches he changes the navigational behavior of nano as well. In this patch, I implement suggestions 1 and 4 without changing the navigational behavior of nano. If suggestions 2, 3, 5 and 6 were considered to be implemented, I would suggest creating two different functions specifically for cutting words and leaving do_next_word and do_prev_word as is.
