Well... it took another ten years before undo became functional.
And if in the beginning I mistyped M-R now and then, surely there
have been others that did so too.  So... for ten more years edits
were lost every week all over the planet.

I should have realized that others would be hurt by this dangerous
binding too, and should have urged it be changed.
