Hello Kamil,
There is a silly display bug in nano-4.3 (https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?57295
-- but Savannah is experiencing problems at the moment): when opening some file
and then typing the sequence ^W ^G ^X, the Search help text stays on the screen
whereas the text of the current buffer should be redisplayed. Attached patch
fixes this. Please apply to nano in Fedora 31. Sorry for the inconvenience.
(It could be applied to nano in Rawhide too, but nano-4.6 will be out within a
week, so it's probably not worth the effort.)
Regards,
Benno
