Hello Kamil and Lars,
Nano versions 4.0 up to and including 4.8 can be made to crash
with a simple two-keystroke combination: ^6 ^J. It seems likely
that very few people actually use the justification function (^J),
but such a simple combination might even be typed by accident.
So, please consider applying the attached patch (that is part of
the 4.9 release) to the nanos that are part of Fedora 31 and 32
(it does not apply cleanly to nano-4.2 in Fedora 30), and to the
stable nano-4.6 in Gentoo.
Regards,
Benno
