No. Please consider contribute a patch if it is necessary for you.

Note that not only is this the case on Windows, it is also how I use nano on 
Linux. Copy-n-pasting
across multiple instances of nano is not possible without an X window (for 
example, on a VT). But it
is possible to open another file in another buffer in the same instance with 
C-R followed by M-F,
then select & copy text around.

Well, it depends on what should be considered 'the features'. Personally, I 
think it the fact that
'nano does not interfere with system clipboards' that is the feature, and there 
is no reason to
change it.
