[Nufw-users] newbie to NUFW

Hi

I have just seen this site
iam trying deploy this in my network with 10PC
and make accouting

Iam running this in FC3
I have downloaded the Source and try to compile i have following issues

1. ./configure --with-mysql-log ( when i configure with this option)

iam getting this following error

checking for mysql_real_connect in -lmysqlclient... no
configure: error: mysqlclient library needed if selected

but mysql installed .........

rpm -qa | grep mysql
mysql-bench-3.23.58-14
mysql-server-3.23.58-14
mysql-3.23.58-14
mysql-devel-3.23.58-14

2. ok i skip the mysql option ./configure

configure went smooth, and iam able to make and make install

when i run

address@hidden nufw-1.0-rc2]# nuauth -h

** ERROR **: Can not open config file : /etc/nufw//nuauth.conf
aborting...
Aborted



I dont see a proper document for the plain text pasword
i seen only LDAP support.. but i would like to use plain text
since iam not much familiar with LDAP


and you did not give any information, how the user should interact with 
server
and server configuration and user creation.. and whre is the config files 
going to be
