I think that the idea, suggested by luka, of having the delimiter
defined by the first character could avoid us future regrets for not
having the colons (or pipe or whatever) character available (well...maybe this
is not of so great importance). Anyway it seems to me
that with "|" the strings are more readable. This is my opinion,
for what it's worth...
