Details:

I'm using Octave 3.2.3 on Ubuntu 10.04. Previously i was using Octave 3.0 on
Ubuntu 9.10. I was used to the function 'clc' which would clear the terminal
screen. It is common to both matlab and was easy to use in Octave. However,
with the new version of Octave, this function is not working. I have tried
using it as part of a .m file as well as directly typing it into the terminal
command line. In both cases, the command is not working. There is just no
response.
