Follow-up Comment #4, bug #30090 (project octave):
Unless mysql.cpp has been updated in some way, it will still fail to compile
with Octave 3.2 or any later version because the symbol table for Octave
variables was completely redesigned for Octave 3.2. Octave no longer has the
variables that are shown as missing in the error messages.
The message also has some reference to swig. Was the mysql.cpp function
generated by swig? Were the parts of that file that refer to the symbol table
generated by swig? If so, I guess the problem needs to be fixed there. If
not, then the problem is with the package because it needs to be updated for
Octave 3.2 and later. Either way, I don't think this is a bug in Octave.
