Follow-up Comment #34, bug #31305 (project octave): I pushed a small changeset to fix "axis tight" so that it doesn't include the hggroup's zdata. http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/2114867f2a50 The reason is that contour plots store the patches cdata in the hggroup's zdata property.
