Follow-up Comment #35, bug #31305 (project octave):
David, with the changeset I pushed to fix "axis tight", and with your patch
(patch.contour4) applied, the behavior of contour/contourf is much improved.
I recommend you push your changeset. For compatibility with Matlab please set
zlim for the axes to [-1 1].
There may be some additional problems, but I expect they'll be easier to
track down after your changeset is pushed.
