URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?31947> Summary: hang processing help Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: None Submitted on: Wed 22 Dec 2010 07:03:17 AM UTC Category: Interpreter Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Crash Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Michael Godfrey Originator Email: address@hidden Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: dev Operating System: GNU/Linux _______________________________________________________ Details: Under certain conditions Octave hangs when processing help commands. This is a dead hang requiring a kill process to clear it. I feel that this should be given high priority before the coming release. See the attached file showing the result of running under gdb. I thought that this had been reported before, but could not find it in the bug tracker. _______________________________________________________ File Attachments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Wed 22 Dec 2010 07:03:17 AM UTC Name: help_hang Size: 9kB By: None <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=22261> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?31947> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
