Follow-up Comment #22, bug #31931 (project octave):

With the diffs-5.txt patch applied, MacOS does not crash. I needed to modify
the patch since fltk_backend.cc no longer exists and __init_fltk__.cc has been
modified a bit since the patch was generated.

I've attached the modified version (diffs-5-update.diff). Since the ChangeLog
entry didn't apply it is missing. The rest should be ok.
