Dear maintainers,

the following code 

S = spalloc(6,4,8);
S(1:4,1:4) = spdiags(rand(4,1),0,4,4);
S(5,1:2) = rand(1,2);
S(6,3:4) = rand(1,2);

run once or twice, gives me a segmentation fault with 3.4.0 and 3.3.53. It is
fine with 3.3.51 (I don't have 3.3.52) and previous versions. If I remove the
first line, everything is fine.
