Behaviour of MATLAB R2010b, using the attached files (map is empty in all
cases):
>> [img, map, alpha] = imread('transparency_pic_color.png');
>> size(img)
ans =
30 30 3
>> size(alpha)
ans =
30 30
>> [img, map, alpha] = imread('transparency_pic_gray.png');
>> size(img)
ans =
30 30 3
>> size(alpha)
ans =
30 30
>> [img, map, alpha] = imread('transparency_pic_gray2.png');
>> size(img)
ans =
30 30
>> size(alpha)
