Follow-up Comment #1, bug #33139 (project octave):
The problem is almost certainly with the link.
>From the top-level directory try './run-octave' which should start your newly
compiled version of Octave. Now try any one of the normally shared library
functions, such as dot().
dot (1:3, 1:3)
My assumption is that Octave will not be able to run this which would indicate
that none of the functions in src/DLD-FUNCTIONS has been statically linked
into your version.
