Follow-up Comment #24, bug #31468 (project octave):

Jordi, I repeated the tests I posted in my previous comment with FLTK. All
forms (char matrix / cellstr) of the multi-line labels come through, but the
newlines don't show up, so the strings are just concatenated together (like
"line1line2" for the first one).
