Update of bug #34800 (project octave):
Status: None => Fixed

Follow-up Comment #1:
Happily, this has been fixed on the development branch. To access the fix you
can build from Mercurial sources or wait for the 3.6.0 release (3.6.0)
scheduled for December 2011. Given that the next release is approaching I
think it unlikely that the fix will be backported to the 3.4.X branch.
