Follow-up Comment #6, bug #35559 (project octave):

As a temporary fix, we could set the color of the axes to "none" during the
print process.

I assume the current fltk implementation draws a rectangle with color [1 1 1].
Is there a way to tell OpenGL the background at an infinite distance is
colored instead ?
