Follow-up Comment #16, bug #33943 (project octave):
Should we add a test for Octave that checks to see whether
[1, 2] * [1, 2, 3]
properly generates an error? At least then the problem would be detected when
the test suite is run.
The only other solution I can think of is to try to write a configure test
that could duplicate the failure so that Octave would not build unless
exception handling works in the way Octave requires.
