I launced Octave-IDE from a unix command line as a foreground process. I
created a simple program in the editor of the IDE and set some break points.
I ran the program and the command line showed that Octave was in debug mode.
I inadvertently typed "exit" at the command line. The IDE closed by the
command line did not return.

I then ran octave-cli and set a break point manually. I processed the script,
at which point Octave displayed the debug prompt. Typing "exit" brought back
the unix command line.
