Tested on computer('arch'): mingw32-i686 and gnu-linux-x86_64.

Matlab R2011b adds the .m extension automatically. Have not tested what
happens if a file without extension exists, or if a file with extension .m.m
exists (and extension .m is used). But preferring the exact match would make

: >file.m
> run('file')
no such file, `C:\...\file'
error: called from `run' in file
C:\Octave\Octave3.6.1_gcc4.6.2\share\octave\3.6.1\m\miscellaneous\run.m near
line 55, column 7

C:\Octave\Octave3.6.1_gcc4.6.2\share\octave\3.6.1\m\miscellaneous\run.m at

Expected result: Octave runs file.m.
