Details:

Patch #8005 added a context menu to the workspace in order to allow selecting
a variable and then doing a number of simple poperations sunch as display,
plot etc.

On right clicking on the variable type, value etc, the context menu is
displayed as well, however on selecting the option, octave will not perform
the operation.

The intended function of the context menu was to provide the functions just
for the varible name.

A patch is attached with changes the menu to display the variable name at all
times.
