That's an interesting bug. I wonder where does reverse came from, it doesn't
exist in matlab either. Maybe from a very old Octave version.
Anyway, I applied the changeset after some very small whitespace change. I
know this function doesn't really follow the typical convention, but we
usually prefer to have no spaces when indexing a variable. The spaces are only
used for functions. Also, a very small change to the commit message (I'm
trying to make Octave Forge follow Octave core commit guidelines).
