Follow-up Comment #7, bug #39477 (project octave): Looks good, but I'd rather have a solution for all systems. So my suggestion would be to move your Qt patch to qt-2-dbus.patch, so it's applied for all systems, then use this additional MXE patch. I've tested it with cross-compile and it seems to work fine. Could you try native MinGW? I'll adapt my MSVC patch afterwards.
