Follow-up Comment #45, bug #38564 (project octave): I tried llvm 3.3rc3 and it configures correctly (build hasn't finished yet). I'm confused as to why you don't get the following lines when configuring: checking llvm/IR/Function.h usability... yes checking llvm/IR/Function.h presence... yes It leads me to believe that, for some reason, you're configure script isn't correct. Can you try running > grep "IR/Function.h" configure in Octave's root directory?
