Follow-up Comment #15, bug #39925 (project octave): I also played with the Y axis the same as we are doing to the X axis. I cannot make it crash with the Y axis, but I did get an out of memory error message, when playing with both X and Y axis at the same time. So one guess is that it is some kind of out of memory that crashes instead of giving an out of memory error message.
