We are close, but still not quite ready.  At any rate, the release
candidate cycle is supposed to start around Friday of this week which is
only a few days away.  At that time I will post another list of bugs which
are only about configuration and building.  If you want to jump ahead you
can filter the bug list on Savannah for the catgeory "Configuration and
Build System".
