I thought I'd offer you the .hgignore file I'm now using. Now my hg GUI never
bugs me about the various intermediate files the Octave build generates.

Take a look at it to make sure I'm not ignoring something important. It's
possible there are cases where one of my ignore patterns matches a file that
is already in the index (a case which I believe HG handles properly).
