URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?41386> Summary: interp1 fails with discontinuities Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: None Submitted on: Wed 29 Jan 2014 12:28:33 PM UTC Category: Octave Function Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Crash Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Marcin Originator Email: address@hidden Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: 3.8.0 Operating System: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: The script interp1 has changed with the new version 3.8.0. In previous versions discontinuities in data resulted in the warning only. With the new version the script has changed and now it ends with the error message "interp1: extra points in discontinuities". In the previous versions it was warning message only. To my understanding, discountinuities should be allowed with both 'linear' and 'nearest' methods of interpolation accordingly to to the manual. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?41386> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
