Follow-up Comment #23, bug #41699 (project octave): Interestingly, I was running tests on some of my older more complex scripts that include several calls to imread and imwrite statements. At least in the case of one of the scripts, the script completes and I can exit Octave without getting the segmentation violation error. I ran 20+ samples through the script without any problems.
