Update of bug #43181 (project octave):

                  Status:                    None => Invalid                
             Open/Closed:                    Open => Closed                 


Follow-up Comment #2:

Thanks for your bug report. I can't see this date format working for any
version of Octave going back to 3.2.4. I also don't see this format listed on
the Matlab help for datenum or datevec. The only built-in format that looks
like it is supposed to handle two-digit years is "mm/dd/yy". It would be best
to pass a format string like "dd-mmm-yy HH:MM:SS" if you want it to interpret
your desired format.
