Follow-up Comment #20, bug #38928 (project octave): I started working on a fix for this problem. Handling the possibility of various locations for hdf5.h is not hard but I'm not sure what to do about the location of the library. Presumably it should match the header file that is chosen, but I'm not sure how to do that in a reliable way. Again, I'm curious to know why this change was made on Debian systems without providing some alternatives-style mechanism to provide a system-wide default that just works. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?38928> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
