Create a file junk.m with the lines

function junk ()
 disp ('1');
 disp ('2');
 disp ('3');

>From within Octave, set two breakpoints with

dbstop ("junk", 2)
dbstop ("junk", 4)

Now use your editor to modify the file junk.m. For example, change '1' to
'1A'. Finally, run dbstatus to capture the segfault.
