Follow-up Comment #3, bug #44249 (project octave):

@Mike Miller: Here is the error during the Octave documentation build:

../../run-octave -f -q -H -p ../../../octave/doc/interpreter --eval
"geometryimages ('voronoi', 'eps');"
error: __osmesa_print__: Depth and stencil doesn't match, are you sure you are
using OSMesa >= 9.0?
error: called from
    __opengl_print__ at line 171 column 7
    print at line 431 column 14
    geometryimages at line 53 column 5
make[3]: *** [voronoi.eps] Error 1

@Andreas: I just built OSMesa with your instructions now. It's proceeding much
better than before. I had earlier tried to build Mesa 10.5, instead of 10.2.
Also your disabling DRI, GLX, XVMC, and LLVM seem to help in the OSMesa build
-- it was earlier asking for various -proto components like dri2proto,
dri3proto, presentproto in successive build attempts. The build-dep list for
libosmesa6-dev however was outdated, especially in its LLVM version, and as it
turned out wasn't needed for the OSMesa build.
