                Category: GUI
                Severity: 2 - Minor
                Priority: 5 - Normal
              Item Group: Incorrect Result
                  Status: None
             Assigned to: None
         Originator Name:
        Originator Email:
             Open/Closed: Open
         Discussion Lock: Any
                 Release: dev
        Operating System: Any

Steps to reproduce:

1) run-octave -f
2) pwd
 - Check pwd. It agrees with the File Browser and Current Directory menu bar
3) Click Editor tab
 - Editor is blank, with unnamed tab
4) Ctrl+O, or use File->Open.
5) Directory is one above pwd

Interestingly, Ctrl+S does get the directory correct.
