Follow-up Comment #1, bug #44116 (project octave): Has anyone tested this? Could it be a candidate for release 4.0? It does seem useful and it would reduce the differences between GUI and CLI use. And, in any case, having qt plotting available in CLI would be helpful. It seems to me a bit odd that all the changes appear to be in GUI code.
