Follow-up Comment #10, bug #44292 (project octave):
This definitely seems to be related to a memory issue. When I run Octave on
Windows under gdb.exe I can't get it to crash. However, as soon as I run
regularly I can get it to crash with sombrero easily. I was trying to get a
backtrace, but was unable to generate a failure under gdb.
