Follow-up Comment #22, bug #44292 (project octave): @Dan: I committed your patch to more closely verify the input to drawnow (http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/e814e202cd84). I wouldn't worry too much about OSMESA printing since we only use it for off-screen printing which really means the documentation figures. Those figures will be generated and shipped in a tarball so it isn't absolutely critical that Window's users be able to off-screen print.
