URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?44504> Summary: Remove unnecessary white space from help when suppress_verbose_help_message is true Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: rocketsound Submitted on: Mi 11 Mär 2015 11:35:59 GMT Category: Octave Function Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Inaccurate Result Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: 4.0.0-rc1 Operating System: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: With the option >> suppress_verbose_help_message(true) one can shorten the output of the help command. Unfortunately this only removes the message Additional help for built-in functions and operators is available in the online version of the manual. Use the command 'doc <topic>' to search the manual index. Help and information about Octave is also available on the WWW at http://www.octave.org and via the address@hidden mailing list. but not the leading white space between this message and the actual output of help (see my screenshot). In the GUI version there are always three leading empty lines, on the CLI two. _______________________________________________________ File Attachments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Mi 11 Mär 2015 11:35:59 GMT Name: Screenshot.png Size: 20kB By: rocketsound <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=33307> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?44504> _______________________________________________ Nachricht gesendet von/durch Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
