Follow-up Comment #2, bug #36983 (project octave):
When __osmesa_print__ is finally completely debugged, then printing of
invisible figures from OpenGL will work and this bug can be closed.
It would be better, perhaps, to search through the built-in tests and identify
those which are using gnuplot solely because it supported invisible figures in
the past and remove that requirement.
