Follow-up Comment #50, bug #44187 (project octave):
It is much more important to work on the (many)
outstanding problems with the OpenGL toolkits.
The gnuplot toolkit should be in maintenance only
mode.
If more than enough resources were available there
still would not be a case for working on gnuplot.
