Follow-up Comment #13, bug #46795 (project octave):
I forgot to mention that even removing the restore-breakpoint dialog (which
seems to be reasonable following our discussion) the problem remains: When the
worker thread needs more time to restore the breakpoints than the gui thread
for removing the tab, the tab will be reopened.
