Follow-up Comment #2, bug #47313 (project octave):
Or, since you say the crash occurs for FLTK, use the octave-cli program since
it is single-threaded and simpler to run under gdb.
gdb --args octave-cli ...
FWIW I do not see a crash when panning or saving FLTK plots.
