Details:

I am a grad student and I just had Octave 4.0 installed in my computer. I am
trying to use lsode to solve a system of stiff differential equations. I
already used 'stiff' option to solve but did not get the right solution. So I
downloaded odepkg-0.8.5.tar.gz and tried to install but I kept get the message
"file odepkg-0.8.5.tar.gz does not exist" back. I have also used
exist(filename) and it returned value of 2. I don't understand why the
software could not find the package. 

P.S: I did put the package file in the place where I already created the path
for Octave accessing to.
